ONESHARE HEALTH IS NOT AN INSURANCE COMPANY. This is an ACA-exempt Health Care Sharing Ministry.

MEMBERS AT OR NEAR AGE 65. For our Members who have reached or may be reaching age 65 in the near future, we should remind them that their OneShare Health Program will discontinue at the end of the month that they attain age 65. These Members may learn more about their options for Medicare here.

DEPENDENTS REACHING AGE 27. For our Members who have Dependents on their Program, they need to take the time to investigate the options available to their Dependents. Dependents attaining age 27 will not be able to continue on their Program as a Dependent (unless disabled and financially dependent on the Primary Member for support). The Dependent may also enroll in their own Program as a Primary Member.

STATE-BASED CONTRIBUTION AMOUNT REMINDER: State-based Monthly Contribution Amounts are effective November 1st, 2020, for new enrollments. Existing Members enrolled prior to November 1st will stay on their existing Monthly Contribution Amounts unless they move states or complete a Program Change. At that time, current pricing structures will apply. Please note, adding or removing a Dependent does not constitute a Program Change.

NOTICE: OneShare Health Program brochures will no longer contain pricing. ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS MUST BE DELETED. Check your back office for updated resources like the FAQ Guide, Brochures, How to Find a Provider, and Spanish Materials.

It’s GO Time For Open Enrollment!

GET. PUMPED. We're rounding the corner on Open Enrollment, and our prospective Members are all waiting to see what OneShare Health has in store!

We work hard to ensure the health and wellness of our Health Care Sharing Ministry, and we’re extending the same Member experience to new individuals and families who are looking for an affordable alternative to conventional health care. As a reminder, here are the OneShare Health updates that will take effect on November 1st, 2020:

  • Contribution Amounts1: OneShare Health is implementing state-based Contributions for Member Monthly Contribution Amounts. The Contribution Amount will vary based on state, Member’s age, Demographics, Program, and Tier.

To clarify, existing Members will not have their Contribution Amounts changed to state-based unless:

  • The Primary Member moves to a new resident state.
  • The Primary Member enrolls in a new Program via an Approved Program Change Request.

If the existing Primary Member does any of the following, their Contribution Amounts will not be changed to state-based:

  • Adds or removes a Dependent from their Program.
  • Reach their Program Year Anniversary.
  • Behavioral Health2: Behavioral Health / Member Assistance Program (MAP) will be made available to all Members through our partnership with Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) for Catastrophic, Classic, and Complete Programs.
  • Latin Market Materials: OneShare Health will be providing online resources for Spanish speakers—such as the website—as well as Spanish Marketing materials for Producers to utilize for Latin Markets.
  • Program Updates: We have clarified OneShare Health Program specifications for the Classic and Complete Programs for X-Rays / Labs / Diagnostic.
  • Member Program Changes: We will provide updates on the Member Program Change process.
  • Have Questions? Learn about our state-based Contributions, Behavioral Health / Member Assistance Program (MAP), and what happens when a Member makes a Program Change during our Open Enrollment webinars.

On November 1st, 2020, information and resources for all the above changes will be available in all Membership Guidebooks, the OneShare Health website, and contained in change emails that were previously sent on behalf of OneShare Health.

Additionally, Members have received an announcement about the Behavioral Health / Member Assistance Program (MAP).

1Please note that Route, Summit, and List Bill are not affected by the state-based Monthly Contribution changes.
2The Behavioral Health / Member Assistance Program (MAP) is available to Members of the Catastrophic, Classic, and Complete Programs. MAP is not available to Summit Program Members.
